Community Involvement

The key to Appleton in Bloom’s success has always been the involvement of the village. We seem to be getting more and more people to help every year and these range from the very young to some of our oldest residents. All this and more demonstrates that Appleton in Bloom is succeeding in engaging the interest and support of the whole community.

Some examples of our community projects are:

Newsletters
The villagers are kept informed through regular newsletters.

Primary School Portfolio Competition
The village Primary School has always been involved and a competition was run to design the front page of our Britain in Bloom Portfolio.

Cub's Tree Survey
The Appleton Wiske Cub Group have undertaken a survey of all the trees in public areas of the village.
